author Mark Stephen Meadows and artist mpMann tell the story of St. Elmo, a djinn living
in a virtual city of his own creation. This story is featured as a silent comic strip running
across the bottom of the book, connected to two flipbook animations at the top.
The result is a circular story with alternate routes and multiple perspectives on the
same events which parallel and illustrate many of the book's themes.
